Robart GmbH, headquartered in Linz, Austria, develops and produces intelligent home robots with laser navigation, with emphasis on robot vacuum cleaners. Well-known manufacturers of household appliances, including BSH, Rowenta, Kärcher and Medion, are among its loyal customer base. Robart supplies its customers with complete household robots, AI-powered solutions and provides them with customization and development services.

Robotic Expertise from Austria
Since our founding in 2009, we have developed into a respected research and competence centre for AI-powered home robotics. At our main location in Linz (AT), as well as other offices in Vienna (AT), Göppingen (DE), Shanghai (CN) and Ohio (USA), we bring together over fifty employees from different countries. Their backgrounds cover various disciplines within robotics: electro-mechanical engineering, industrial design, software and app development. Thanks to our high quality standards and the overall strategy, which is oriented towards research and development, we have already registered over one hundred international patents/applications.

ROBART was founded in 2009 by Dr. Harold Artés and Michael Schahpar with the vision of developing Artificial Intelligence that enables useful and affordable robots in every household.
Dr. Harold Artés is CEO of Robart and responsible for the company's overall strategic orientation with a strong focus on next generation technology. Michael Schahpar is Robart’s Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and brings his expertise as an experienced founder and manager of various SMEs. He is responsible for the overall marketing as well as for developing the company's product roadmap and delivering new products and services.
